Founder & CEO
Developer of the core functions of OCCT and former system administrator, Adrien is the soul and jack of all trades driving OCBASE.
Jerôme BERLINGIN
Sales Director
With a background in sales and marketing, and past experiences at ASUS, Lenovo and Cooler Master, Jerôme is responsible for the commercial development of OCCT.
Adrien STEVENS
Marketing Director
Former marketing manager at ASUS, Adrien is responsible for the marketing strategy and community management at OCBASE.
Driss BENQEZZA
Lead Developer
Veteran developer and first to jump on board the adventure, Driss pilots the development team and ensures the quality of the code behind OCBASE's products.
Our story
Passion and dedication
2003
Born... in the USA
OCCT, short for “OverClock Checking Tool”, began as an experiment during a student exchange in Oklahoma back in 2003.
Driven by a desire to stress-test overclocked PC builds, Adrien Mercier developed OCCT's very first test, which quickly gained popularity across online forums within the overclocking community.
2004 - 2019
The passion project
After returning to France, OCCT's creator began a career in IT as a system administrator, all while continuing to develop OCCT in his free time.
Despite professional commitments and major life events, OCCT continued to receive regular updates, driven by passion and countless late-night coding sessions.
2020 - 2023
Going all in
As the 2020s began, OCCT went through a major code overhaul and gained even more traction among PC enthusiasts.
The Covid pandemic presented an unexpected opportunity to take OCCT to the next level, transforming it into a full-time endeavor.
2024 - 2025
A new frontier
Backed by a rapidly growing team, OCCT adopted a refreshed visual identity, expanded its suite of professional features, and launched on Linux.
